How many times will I have to visit the office to achieve results?
The ProYellow laser is effective in just 1-2 treatments! Of course, results depend on the skill and artistry of your plastic surgeon, and on the proper diagnosis of your skin’s condition. For long term results, you may need to attend follow-up sessions with your doctor.
How long does my treatment last?
A typical ProYellow laser facial rejuvenation session lasts 10-40 minutes, so you can come into the office over your lunch break and be back at work shortly afterwards. A more superficial treatment session that revitalizes the complexion can last as little as 15 minutes, while the deeper work of addressing vascular (blood vessels) and pigmentation flaws may take up to 40 minutes.
Will I see changes in my complexion right away?
Yes! The ProYellow laser achieves beautiful improvements in vascular conditions immediately, with some of the best facial blood vessel removal Beverly Hills has to offer. Within 5-10 days you will notice that your pigmented lesions have also nicely faded. Your results will continue to impress as the weeks go by, with the most dramatic changes visible by 30 days post-treatment.
Is the ProYellow laser painful?
Because the ProYellow laser does not require as much power as lasers using the typical green energy wavelengths, there is greater comfort for the patient. If you happen to have very sensitive skin, however, the doctor is happy to provide you with a topical anesthetic prior to your procedure.

Before and After
How does ProYellow laser fix brown spots?
The ProYellow laser uses a specific wavelength of light energy to target areas of hyperpigmentation in your skin. There are two tools used, one is the scanner handpiece which targets larger areas and the other is a custom smaller handpiece to target individual spots. These devices utilize the the wavelength of pure yellow light, at 577nm. This wavelength is used to safely address pigmentation problems, as other wavelengths when used in the past were sometimes found cause further hyperpigmentation.
How it works
When the ProYellow laser is used on brown spots, the laser is absorbed by the melanin or pigment in the skin and the deeper blood vessels. This absorbed energy begins to break down the melanin as well as inhibiting the blood flow sustaining pigment-producing cells. Once the pigment breaks down, the reduced blood flow makes it difficult for the cells to again produce the excess pigment.
Using the ProYellow laser you can expect longer-lasting results due to the impeded production of pigment. The ProYellow laser uses the same wavelength for a variety of different pigmentation and complexion issues as it targets the blood vessels, sebum-producing glands, and underlying structure of the facial tissue for superior results.
